I am writing on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk, Colin Sutton, to inform you that the consultation for the new Norfolk Police and Crime Plan 2026-2028 has now been launched.
The Police and Crime Plan will establish the strategic priorities for policing, crime prevention, and community safety across Norfolk over the next two years. As key partners in supporting and delivering safer communities, the views and experiences of local authorities are invaluable in helping to shape these priorities.
Please find attached information relating to the consultation. I would be grateful if you could take the opportunity to review the enclosed documents and complete the consultation survey, which can be accessed via the following link:

The consultation will remain open until Friday 9th October, and we would encourage responses to be submitted before this date.
In addition, I would be grateful if you could share the consultation materials and survey link with relevant town and parish councillors, and partner networks where appropriate. The Commissioner is keen to ensure that as wide a range of views as possible are reflected in the final Police and Crime Plan.
This consultation represents an important opportunity for public sector partners, communities, and stakeholders to influence the future direction of policing and community safety across Norfolk, and we welcome all contributions.
