Annual Parish Meeting

Each year, there is a requirement for an Annual Parish Meeting, to take
place between March 1st and June 1st inclusive. Other Parish Meetings may
be called during the year. Agendas must be published seven clear days
before the meeting, and items may be requested by any Elector.

These may be called by the PC Chairman, two Cllrs, or six Members of the
Public.

They are not Parish Council meetings, but, if the Chair of the PC is present,
he/she must Chair the Meeting.

Any person on the electoral register is entitled to speak at a Parish Meeting;
anyone not on the register may not speak or vote. If Cllrs attend, they do so
as Members of the Public.

Subjects for discussion are not limited to those over which the PC may have
powers. Votes may be taken, but are not binding, and the PC is generally
expected to consider matters raised at a future date.
